To Nick's point, I hope all of it is true but know for a fact that much of it is. We have allowed very vocal minority groups to try and change things that are important to very many of us. Things like morals, faith in God, our Christian belief system, etc, and now even the Confederate flag. The flag, to those of us who are from the south and have ties to the Confederacy, I had as many as 27 people in my family who fought for the South, is not about hate or racism but our heritage and respect to our forefathers. To bring it down in such an ignorant way is just appalling but I'm not surprised. The squeaky wheel applies here and politicians unwilling to be accused of not being PC or a racist casually cave in to the mob without a second thought. This act with the flag, and not just in SC but darn near any place that displayed it, disrespects the memory and legacy of the men who fought and died for something they believed in. Remember, both sides in a war feel they are on the right side. We take our teeth getting kicked in with hardly a sound or a whimper. Stick to what you believe in. I don't give a tinkers damn about what the Supreme Court calls marriage, I know what it says in the Good Book, and I know what the Confederate flag means to me.  Makes you wonder...what's next?
