I developed a fuel blow by spot at the bottom of one of my carburetor tubes so I knew I needed to replace my O-Rings; I heard about Red Eye from numerous people but thought I would ask Bill if he had an extra six pack of O-Rings or if he could order a set the next time he had one of his many repair projects come in to his shop as I wasn't in a real hurry.  Wow, Bill wasted no time ordering parts and when I received a note from Bill that my parts were in I swear it couldn't have been more than 24 hours since I asked Bill for the favor, now that is fast!  I just thought I would let everyone know how GREAT Bill is (most of us already know that) and how quick RedEye Technical Services are at pushing out orders.
Now I couldn't let the new parts sit long so Saturday I started with the intention of only replacing the leaking O-Ring and saving the rest for another day, but, as I started inspecting each tube they were all starting to show small signs that they needed some attention as well. So the top of my engine is clean enough to eat off of, now I just need to get motivated and clean all the Deadwood mud off of the rest of my bike as well as Shea's bike. I will admit that replacing the O-Rings was one of the easiest projects I have done on the Valkyrie.
Ok, enough rambling from me!  WHERE O WHERE HAS EVERYONE GONE?  IT IS TOO QUIET ON THIS BOARD, I GUESS EVERYONE IS ENJOYING THE SUMMER HEAT OUT BY THE POOL OR AT THE BEACH OR EVERYONE IS SERVICING THEIR BIKES AND PACKING FOR NICK'S RIDE NORTH. THAT SURE SOUNDS LIKE FUN.
RIDE SAFE
