Pretty funny.  Grin

It's a madness.

You will definitely lose your license with this thing.

With great power, comes great responsibility.

I saw that back when he first posted a couple of months ago.  I love how at one point he's saying something along the lines of its supposed to be a cruiser not a sport bike.

"To where?" I asked.

"To Valhalla"

I like the enthusiasm but I do agree...The Valkyrie is fast...no doubt...but once you straddle a large displacement sport bike...well everything else is just slow...Their crazy fast...like totally stupid fast....

Even the old Honda V-65s were nutz!!  Does anyone remember those things? Fast as hell too!

I bought one when I was 18 years old.  I had to trade it in for a V45 Magna because the cost of insurance was too much for it.

I had a V65 Magna and a V65 Sabre. I really wish I had kept the Sabre. Full fairing, bags, good looking, handled decent and FAST. I remember the ad from Honda that sold me back in 84.

0to60fasterthanyoucanreadthis. I was hooked. LOL

Thanks for the link!  I loved this vid!   Grin 2funny

"It's a cruiser, not a sportbike".  He is actually pretty on it - I test drove a VFR1200 before buying the Valk.  The Valk has a surprising similarity to the VFR: both come "on cam" above 80MPH and the Valk feels far closer in performance to the VFR than it does to any other cruiser.

Let's look at some facts and figures from http://www.mcnews.com/mcn/articles/2015_01PerfIndex.pdf.  The Valk does a 0-60 in 3.41 seconds, a 11.65 second 1/4 mile@111MPH.  The 1/4 mile is telling, the weight is holding her back versus anything else truly "sport", but the 3.41 sec 0-60 reveals that she's quicker than the flavor-of-the-month FZ-09.  Even then, the 1/4 is faster than an FZ-07, beats a Monster 796 in all aspects and is quicker than the Monster 1100S in the 0-60 (Monster has faster 1/4 mile).

Overall, everything taken into account, she's no joke.
