So I gots me a delema:
Bled fluids: brakes and clutch. Nothing difficult about that. Checked brake pad wear, all look good.
Took a ride and when I engage the front brake lever I hear a POP which seems to be coming from the front brake.
Did some more investigating and maybe it was from the clutch?  So I initially checked for any sign of a leak, nope no leaks.
Re-bled the system just to be sure, and did get some additional air out of the clutch system, very little out of the brake system.

Buttoned her up and went out for a test ride, no POP from the Clutch but still hearing this POP niose when the front brake is applied, yet the bike brakes in a striaght line.

Any suggestions as to what to look for to eliminate this noise? Yes I know the Valk has floating calipers and I have looked for anything obvious that would cause any binding, and did not see anything obvious. I looked for the obvious warped rotor even.

Getting ready for a trip and what started out as simple routine pre trip maintenance has caused me to loose me more hair......

Thanks  Smiley

It could be the floaters are becoming loose a bit. (the rotor disc loose in the hub)  The clue is the "pop" happens when applying the brakes.

Anything binding doesn't apply in this instance. Loose would be the issue.  Make sure the calipers are good and tight.

Make sure the axle it correctly torqued.
