I am chasing a gremlin on my bike that is causing the left side of turn signal signal to stay lite when you turn the bike on. I thought it was the switch , so I took it apart and scrubbed it, down and put it together, same issue. Even while I had it apart, I tested it in each area, same results. The turn signal will stay lite , non blinking regardless if it is the neutral position or not. The lights function normal on the right side, blinking and all. If I switch the switch to the left side, it will not blink. I think that the lights are being grounded or have fused to a positive side. There are two relays in the truck area near the lights, I notice that when I had the switch the turned to the left side, that one of the relays would buzz. I removed the relay and the lights stayed lit. So I know have my bike almost taken completely apart trying to find a frayed wire. The faring, tank, seat and trunk are all off the bike. Please help, eager to get I put back together so that I can ride it.
Does anyone have wiring diagram of the bike, interstate model

Go to Rattlebars website and find the Valk wiring diagrams. They might be in Shoptalk. Also search for Dag's website. He has an OEM service manual that can be downloaded. Before digging any further, replace all the turn signal bulbs as an internal short can cause stuff like this.

Start with the easy stuff first. Switch out your bulbs from left to right, both front and back and see if the problem still persists.

Look for a pinched wire. You have a grounding problem on that side.

Ok, I found the problem. The previous owner ran power to something in the trunk using the power from the lights. I disconnected the wires and reran new wiring. The light no longer comes on with the ignition but does operate with he switch. The problem now is neither side blinks and my brake lights are not working. I think it is a fuse, but going to give up for the day.

I'm assuming you've got an IS because of your reference to a trunk. Here's the schematic for the circuits you're having trouble with: http://www.rattlebars.com/valkfaq/schematics/rpage03i.html
