Good evening folks,

First post on this most informative forum. Had 4 Hondas years ago (back in the day of "you meet the nicest people on a Honda") till I was hit. Always thought I'd own a GW.

I'm 6'7", 300 lbs, 36" inseam, 37" sleeves. Love the feel of the Valkyrie and think I would prefer the ABS and cruiser vs. the no option for ABS F6B bagger. Haven't had a long enough demo to let the feel of being crowded truly set in.

Sadly as others have commented, the after market for accessories/customizing for fit seem limited. On the bagger I think I'd do the Helibars, Roadsmith lowered/forward controls, and seat for farther and/or higher position.

Thoughts, comments, suggestions for the Valkyrie? I don't have the skill set I've seen many of you have for custom bars, cables, etc. I've read comments on the ABS and am torn having not ridden much for many years think it's a great safety option. Too bad HOA doesn't offer on the F6B.

Safe riding; thanks & regards!

You may be the only person the OEM tall windshield will actually fit correctly if that makes you feel any better.

welcome back to riding gatorheel. Your height will probably be a real blessing for you on the stock handlebar set up. Most complaints are that they are too far forward. I have to stretch a wee bit - but i'm still comfortable on 3-4hr rides with no rest. I'm 177cm tall (5'9"). Not sure what can be done to increase your seat height other than an aftermarket seat. You will definitely want a set of Kuryakyn highway pegs mounted on the engine guard so you can stretch your legs out once you are on the highway.

ride safe bro
