Just bought some OEM pipes off ebay. They are on their way!

I'll be removing my TBRs. Is the mounting hardware and mounting points the same? Or do I need special brackets or bolts or something? If so, might as well get that handled now so that when they get here I'll be ready.

I don't know how TBR's mount but I would say they should be the same.

I also had TBR 6-into-6 and went to unmolested stock.  A friend did the install, but I'm pretty sure it was a simple swap out.  What I can say with confidence is your ears, and your neighbors, will appreciate the change.

Easy exchange, plug & play. May want to consider replacing the exhaust gaskets.

Agree, order some exhaust gaskets and you should be good to go. Don't go crazy tightening the small exhaust head bolts.

By all means, new gaskets and don't use a torque wrench when reinstalling. Just a nice snug fitment is all that's needed, then check them again a couple times.....every 100 miles or so. You need to do that anyway with a torque wrench, except using a short 10mm wrench lowers the possibility of snapping a bolt off.

before you place new gaskets in, insure that the old ones are removed. They are copper hollow donuts, and squish out and lock in the port holes.
