First Valkyrie ride of 2009 for this rider.... and man... I feel GOOD!

I have had to lay off of the Valk rides since last November.... which has been very difficult for me.... but my back has dictated this long layoff.... a couple of injections.... some PT and daily exercises has strengthened my back until I felt it was time for a ride.

One Hundred and Thirty Four and 5/10 miles does a body good.... I wanted to keep going, but didn't want to overdo it... and I'd promised the wife unit that I'd be back in 20 minutes.... HA! She knew better! She (the bike) needed some fresh gas ya know?  I just wanted to share that I'm back in the saddle with somebody who is still speaking to me Cheesy

Doug, Glad to see you're feeling up to getting back on the bike.  Hope we're able to meet up sometime, somewhere soon.

Don't it feel good  cooldude

Many years ago, after having an encounter with a drunk driver on my '77 Wing (in '82 and I got busted up pretty bad), I was away from MC's for a few years...  When I finally got the stones to throw a leg over again, It was on my brothers HD.  I knew it was meant to be, because as I was pulling away from his place, feeling a bit shakey, 'Back in the Saddle Again', by Aerosmith came on the bike's radio  Shocked

Guess that ride was meant to be, and the rest is history  Wink

Glad ya got some wind  cooldude
