Any members close to me in Panama City?  Looking for a good mechanic around here that knows what a Valkyrie is.

Welcome Stryk, there are a few members up that way and I'm sure they'll chime in when they see this.

Sent you an email with ChrisJ CMA's email attached.  I bet he can and will help if you need it.  He is 90 miles from you in Crestview.

Greetings, Jeff in Crestview is a great guy and knows the Valk's very well. I'm sure he will do his best to help you out. I actually rode my new IS this morning w/ another IS owner for a early breakfast then a nice ride over here in Nothern Escambia county. There are several riders over this way and we plan to get a ride your way when the weather cools to meet with other riders from central/south FL. Check the board as the weather cools I'm sure it will happen. Good luck and welcome!  coolsmiley

I doubt anyone around here knows Valks any better than Jeff (chrisj) does.  He's in Crestwiew.

Xtracho is in Panama City also.

JDawg, send Jeff a pm, christj as you can see in the previous messages. He is actually selling a really nice 98 Black Valk Tourer.  :cooldude:iIf your looking you should take a look see at this bike. You can ask him about his garage that he works in. Good luck and welcome to the Clan.

At least the case looks undamaged. Last one I did needed the case and all the gears replaced. Where ever you get it repaired, make sure the carbs are gone through or the problem will have a chance to occur again.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Long story on the carbs, but most of mine are MIA - bought a set from a running bike that was being parted out - they are good, at least right now.
