To the people that find Zephyrhills on the way to Uncle Mike's BBQ , I will make coffee and Sherry will have a morning type goodie for you if you want to make the cottage a p stop. Then we can roll in together, leaving the cottage at 12:30ish.   cooldude

Been watching your posts and waiting for a chance to hit a sweet spot and meet up. Don't necessarily like interstate routs but running 17 up from Ft Myers looks like a nice straight shot. Weather has been a big factor as well as riding alone long runs. But my long range  forcast on phone says sunny and pleasant with 17% chance of rain. mid 80's. Wife does not ride and somewhat house ridden with shoulder problems and does not drive. I get a little guilt ridden when I run out on bike so stay close and short runs on weekends. Did run to Sebring Saturday and stretch my wheels a bit more. Would like to meet with everyone. Sounds like a fun group. I meet retired friends from work who vacation winters in Tampa area and meet them in Polmeto at the Crab shack on 19 So of Skyway So looks like I need to make this one hopefully.

Well I broke the idea to my wife and preped her for it. Weather and unseen circumstances I should make it. Yours the only one? Thought there were more. Love the bike. Much easier ride than my VTX.  Look forward to meeting the group.

Sherry and I caged it down to Carol's Café for breakfast and passed the F6B destination, so the actual ride time from the cottage to the barbecue is 35 minutes.

Nick ride time from the cottage to the Shell station you're talking about 12 minutes.

Lastly, we suggest a slight deviation that would take us a little bit out in the sticks but avoid downtown plant city which is bumpy as heck and traffic light sitting versus going a couple miles out of our way

Possibly going but might drive if I do, need to try and find the source of an annoying loud metalic "snap" coming from somewhere in the lower left area of the bike when I hit a bump. Think I might pull the bags and all the associated rails and mounts, then ride it around to see if it goes away. Kind of a PITA to do that, it's not the left shock so still looking, been poking around that area for a few weeks now and found nothing. Makes me hesitate to ride very far, might have to pull the wheel and see if the bearing is going south on me. Shouldn't be, it's a double row and very few miles on it but....stuff happens.
