Quick question.  Im restoring/ painting interstate tank for my tourer.  Int tank does not have fuel cap but i thought my tourer cap would fit.  Maybe not?   Also if the body is different will the flip/key cap fit in both or do i need to get a whole new key setup.  Thanks in advance r777.

As far as I know, there is no difference in the interstate cap, and the tourer cap. And that should fix your key problem cooldude

+1 my understanding also, when I sold my IS.

But if you have keys for both, you can always swap the tumblers.

Same unit, just swap with your current one so you don't have to mess with different keys. Be careful with the two mounting screws, they have a tendency to drop into the tank....never to be seen again, only heard.
