Just washed my 2001 black standard with silver stripe. It looks pretty darn good for 58,000 kms except that one of my little chrome bullets vibrated loose and fell off on the lower left side of my plate.

How can I get just one of these?

I have not seen those bullets before this.  I use high crown chrome acorn nuts to secure the plate.  But I have also used them in many other places to enhance the Valk.  There are forty to fifty on the bike...

Check your local auto parts stores.  I believe that is where I got mine.  Don't know about getting just one...as I think they come in a package of 4...but the price is reasonable.

Or...you can check ebay...  http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=bullet+license+plate+bolts

It's hard to tell the shape from your straight-on shot.  If you don't get the help you need from us, send a good pic to Motorcycle Accessory Centre (sometimes known as Andre's) on 17th Avenue SE in Calgary.  They carry a good variety of chrome doodads.

If you don't find one, I'll do some digging in my junk drawers. I remember seeing a couple sometime back.

Our local hardware store has an awesome selection on chrome acorn nuts. I just bought the pointed ones for 5/16 bolts for about $1.50 each.
