On cars, anti-squeal is recommended for the backs of the pads. I haven't seen any mention of its use on our Valk pads in the Shoptalk notes. Do I need it? I am replacing all brake pads this weekend. TIA

I've never applied it front or rear and never had issues with about 5 pad intervals.
I don't think it could hurt, but don't recall much tech chat about needing it in 10 years here.

Good idea to clean all pistons before reseating 'em though.

first brake pad change on mine they squealed in about a week. Had to go back and add anti squeal  2funny
I recommend doing it right the first time  Cool

Thanks, guys! I'll definitely clean the pistons and will use some anti-squeal, just to sure. Squealing brakes would drive my OC arse nuts.  uglystupid2
