2000 I/S $4499, red/black, in Tampa,  no mileage reported but even if it has 120 to 150k miles it would still be a good deal.

Sure looks good. You have room for one more in the garage don't you?

I'd go for it but I like sleeping in the bedroom, not the garage.  Grin

That's what I was thinking, crazy2 but like John I like sleeping inside as well !
it would fit in the garage though since the truck has been kicked out.
Nah, just posting for the people looking for a good deal, it actually concerns me at how folks are giving these beauties away. Best Bang for your buck bike out there but the buck is getting smaller, I want to sell my Standard (I think) but don't want to take less than 5k which is less than I paid for it. Never saw another black/silver stripe till this week one shows up on classifieds. ??? here is mine, still commute with her.

A Honda dealer in Wisconsin has a 98 tourer with 20,000 miles on, custom paint job looks good for $4200..
I sold my I.S this spring and it took  almost 2 months before anyone even called and was interested in it and thank God he ended up buying it.  It seems like the prices are going down.

I called them...  5k cash out the door. I'd do it in a heartbeat but I'm moving soon and don't have the cash unless I sell my Standard...  And I rather doubt they'd hold the IS for that long.  Timing is everything.

There's a red/black IS at my local Honda dealership too, on consignment, $4999 with 150k miles.

I was looking at it last week, they didn't even bother to air up the tires (which need replaced).

http://www.turnershonda.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?veh=128&pov=4255049

If I were in the market, I'd offer $3500 for this particular one and expect they'd take ~$4000.

During that dealership visit, I met Al, who had HIS red/black IS parked out front. Unfortunately, I was on my 93 so we couldn't bond and do the secret 99 IS handshake, but we did chat for a good while.

This dealer also has a Standard Valk in "ok" shape, back in the back. It's for sale too but is not one that I'd consider paying much for. It obviously sat out in the elements, close to beach would be my guess.
