my VIN sticker is starting to curl up on the bottom ends and before it gets any worse I need some thoughts on a good adhesive to re-glue those corners, something that is water resistant.

I always wondered why they used a sticker and not a metal plate riveted to the frame.

What I did, I carefully removed every single sticker I could (VIN, frame) and reapplied them inside the trunk lid with some type of adhesive.  Don't remember what.  I wouldn't use super glue, but any good all weather adhesive should work.  You could put a clear sticker over top of it too.

It's probably illegal to move the VIN, and my excuse is that they were peeling off and I was going to lose them, so I did this to protect them on an aging machine.

While that is true, my real reason is that my information on my bike is private, and anybody who wants to see it can suck eggs.

Last time I got pulled over the officer asked me if it was a Kawasaki.  Looked over my plate and inspection, never looked for a neck VIN.  If he did, I could raise the lid. If he asks if that's where they belong, my answer is that I bought the bike used (which is true, and nonresponsive).

Fort Walton Beach, Florida I'm a simple man, I like pretty, dark haired woman and breakfast food.

Maybe just a dab of a silicone adhesive.  Water proof and sticks well.

I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to
