Does the new Valkyrie have a peg lowering kit?  Been toying with the idea of buying one but I do not like the foot peg position.  I need it lower and moved forward if possible.

I don't know specifically, but if there's one for a GL1800 'wing I'm sure it would work on the new Valkyrie.

Thanks Dave.

I see that the GW has the peg lowering kit but I read remarks that the manufacturing of these products were poor quality.  People left comments that nothing lined up correctly and sometimes required modifications to get them to fit.

Sounds like a "post-purchase" wrench party to me.  coolsmiley   Roll Eyes

I wonder if these would work…or are they the lousy ones?

Also, Kuryakan sells some mini boards with "comfort drop" mounts.

FYI, I test rode the new Valk the other day and really liked it, but the peg position was totally wrong for me.  The handling, power and even the sound was pretty awesome.  it seemed to take bumps in the road better than the F6B (which I also test rode).

It would take some seat, peg and handlebar alterations to get the comfort level right for me.  Kinda like I've done on my old Valk.  Also, Corbin has some pretty impressive looking hard bags available.  They come with a pretty impressive price, too…ouch!

Ouch is right on the Cobin stuff, and it is very hard to change the handlebars.

All the peg hardware looks the same almost as if they are made in the same place.  I will see what the dealership has to offer and how much they want to sell a Valk.  I can't see spending a lot of money if it don't fit.

The Corbin bag looks great but I would have to wait for the price to drop if I vere wanted to get them.
