Sure would help letting off a little steam.   2funny

Another thing....just keep a couple six-packs handy to drink while cruising 'cross country. Everyone knows you drain more than you drink so all you'd have to do is stop for something to burn once in a while. Wouldn't need to stop to refill the boiler with water. The steam might smell a little funky though.

Riding a bomb must be a rush! I bet it's pretty slow out of the hole with that steam piston drive but it probably goes 1000 mph.  Grin

That is what is different with steam, if it is 100 HP, it can produce it at 1 rpm. They make max torque at very low rpm. I recall watching steam trains when I was younger starting out with a mile of cars behind them, as soon as the throttle was cracked they would spin the wheels. They had to dump sand on the rail in front of the wheels to get traction.
