Does anybody know if the "Audiovox 250-1316 Electronic Cruise Control System with Rostra 250-3421 Left Mount Stalk Controllor" will install and work on a Valk?

Never heard of it, but if you would first have to find a replacement control method as you probably do not want a car turn signal looking lever on your bike.

Outside of that you can probable make any cruise control work on the valk.

There have been 1 or 2 electronic cruise systems installed. If I recall, the first attempts were tricky and functioned well in the long run. You can find info with a Tech Archive search for "Rostra" cruise control.

I agree, as mentioned, I don't think I'd care for the "stalk" type controls on a bike. Mounting & ease of use would be difficult, though not impossible.

I tried searching the archives, but did not find anyone who had actually installed the Audiovox "Rostra" CC on a Valk.

I just searched using "Rostra" a ton of info is there from member Friagabi. Most of it is around 10/07. Rostra CC is not Audiovox they're proprietary to Rostra Precision Controls, Inc.

The Old Tech Archives & Google are your friends. It helps to make use of them and can actually provide more info in addition to what can be obtained here with a few thread responses and enable better decision making.
