Hey Rod,

Always great to see you on the board. On my trip to Inzane in July, I was thinking about you when I went through Vegas. North bound going to Inzane, I passed through about 5am, and on the trip back I spent the night in Mesquite, and came through Vegas about the same time of day. I was trying to beat the heat both directions. Sure wish they'd get that freeway construction through town completed one of these years....I'm sure you're not exactly fond of it either, it's a mess. The trip to Inzane was pretty hot coming and going, plus I bucked a strong head wind most of the way back. It was a 14 hour day from Loveland to Mesquite because of the headwinds. I had to slow down for better mileage, and I was going to reserve at just over 90 miles, so I had a few extra fuel stops. It was mid 90's in Cedar City when I passed through on the way to Inzane, and about the same temp when I got to Richfield, Ut. where I spent the night. Except for the stretch from home to Barstow and back it was Freeway all the way. I left Inzane and went over to Loveland, CO. for a couple of days to visit my Brother who recently retired. That was my first Inzane and I enjoyed it. I met up with John Gera, and Big Lou at the rally, and hung with them mostly. I did meet lots of very nice folks, and hope to make another one some day. Big Lou's Valkyrie took a couple of awards, including Best of Show. I'm not sure you've seen his Valkyrie since he got the new Paint Job. It's Beautiful....You need to see it...
