A few have written the girls at F6Rider about making patches and decals for the 1832 Valk. I advised them I didn't think we'd have enough sales to warrant the set up costs and to be honest the hours I'd spend designing.
Thoughts?

I don't usually buy motorcycle specific patches since I don't normally keep any specific bike long. I'd buy one simply to help out another small business if they look good though. I know "look good" is very objective, but we'll see what the concensus wants. I vote for nothing like the 1500 patch, I personally don't like it and would like something different to set the two bikes apart.

Well hey, looks like there is no market for any 1832 Valkyrie t-shirts, patches or whatever which doesn't surprise me. I'll let the few who have contacted F6Rider the news. I live in one of the biggest megalopolises on in America with perfect motorcycle weather year round and I haven't seen one of these rare beasts. I hope I'm wrong and that Honda is doing great with the new Valkyrie, but I have to say from my first glance at the Goldwing Valkyrie I thought it was bound to be a sales disappointment. Heck I saw the Polaris Slingshot all over town before I knew what the hell they were... heck Justin and Jason brought one by for me to play with, but not a shadow of a Valkyrie. (See the video I shot on the Polaris, hell I got 83 thousand plus views) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVXUraosEC0 I know Mike and Connie bought the 1832, anyone else?. So just how many of those things do you think they've sold? Are they on deep discount now? I feel bad for Honda.

I personally certainly understand that there's not enough to warrant the set up. Don't necessarily need anything special as far as the T-shirt anyway, it won't make this goob look good. As far as the bike is concerned I think it's one of the most amazing things I've ever had. The 1500s, they will always be the most beautiful. I do wish more would have the opportunity to ride one of these things. Thank you for the consideration.

oZ....just make something butt ugly and you'll sell a dozen...maybe two. Seriously though, maybe you should post this in the new Valk thread (if you haven't already).

I think this would have faired better in the 1800 board, any how I'll take a patch if I like the looks, something small for the shoulder I think.
As to your other question, yes the new 14's are on deep discount, I got mine for 13k, some have reported as low as 11k depending on the color.

All the comments are right, I had to debate on keeping my 1520 but, when I rode the 1832 WOW,that was all I needed. I wanted the flat 6 motor but without all the extra factory equip. sooooo, yes I put bags on, and a windshield, and hwy pegs, and now a hard trunk that I can pop on in 20 min. for those longer trips. The handlebars, and seat are fine!!!!!!! Im 65 so I dont need to ride more than 400 miles a day......The new vals are a class by themselves and the sooner everyone finds that out the better. At a stop light when someone rolls down their window and asks....WHAT IS THAT!!!!!! IM only to happy to say its "MY honda" Ride On LIfe is good

The concept of the Valkyrie was a good idea. Use the flat six engine to build a stripped down more cruiser-ish bike.
The execution was ok. While I like it far more than the F6B and Goldwing, I wish it would have been set a bit apart performance wise other than just being lighter. I think that's what hurt a lot of the sales...... a high price tag for simply a Goldwing without the Goldwing. I enjoy the new Valkyrie far more than the old one but I'm already hoping someone else steps up and builds something else that catches my eye. The lack of aftermarket support really takes a lot of the enjoyment away from owning a Valkyrie.

I test rode one. I liked it. A LOT. But I am too sentimentally attached to my 2002 Valk.
But that COULD change...

Some who jumped on the 1800c kept their 1500s some did not. I kept one Of my interstates (the wife said I could- she is a keeper!) for a wile and then decided someone else should enjoy it. So keep the 1500 and see where it goes. Rode with the fla 1500s yesterday, the new 1800c is pure joy!!

And then there's those of us who are now orphans. We bought the 1832 but not in Valkyrie format. I know that Dennis from Blythe, Dave Ritsema, Jimmytee, Jack B and I all have the F6bs and I'm sure I've leaving out a few.
But if the patches/Tees say 1832 "Valkyrie" that's perfectly fine, but would leave out any reason for me to buy one as I no longer own a Valkyrie, just an 1832.
Just another obstacle to toss out there.

We have the Corbin for when two up and it has a special (for the Corbin) rear carrier that mounts to the support square rod on the Corbin passenger back rest. We have an old tube bag on the rear carrier for now. What is nice is the Corbin pops off with everything attached, then pop on the solo seat and take flight! That is the beginning of the storage quest for now. Goldwing floorboards and Kuryakyn highway pegs power coated black when two up

Not orphans, nope, blood! And also your B numbers are much bigger than the C's. I sure wish the C's could grow before they nix it. If they do I might have to buy a second one.

So out of our group three now have F6Bs and I have the C and then a few with full on wings as well. All of us are still very much a part of this group and this board. Same with others who went to an F6B or Wing, some of these could be original members of this board, this is home. What I find interesting is you, I feel you don't really like your 1800c. Your posts state you are ready for someone to step up to the plate with something else. You have criticized this bike many times, sure seems the common theme is power/performance and it might be that this bike is not for you.

My original Valkyrie is way more awesome than the 4-5K I could sell it for. It has all the Cobra chrome stuff on it, including radiator side covers and the rail that holds on the rear fender. Years ago I got Cobra swingarm pivot covers from Big Mike, but one side had bad chrome. Curt and Larry just got the bad side re-chromed for me, so soon there will be even more Cobra billet on there ... it is an awesome ride. I thought my new 1800 sucked comfort-wise when I got it, but I committed to fixing it since I knew there was a Goldwing inside... it has all the things - fuel injection, single-sided-swingarm, single-shock (totally different feel), less top-heavy in the parking lot - we always wished for. Anybody who says they don't like them hasn't ridden one that's been adjusted to their comfort, or else just plain doesn't like motorcycles ... I put about 400 miles on it this Saturday-from-hell in all kinds of conditions, it is a spectacular motorycle... -Mike

an 1832 patch and t-shirt would be awesome. can i make a request? no Viking logo this time but an actual Valkyrie logo would be killer.

Your posts state you are ready for someone to step up to the plate with something else. You have criticized this bike many times, sure seems the common theme is power/performance and it might be that this bike is not for you. Of course the patch would probably say "Valkyrie" or something. This is the Valkyrie forums. I'm sure on the F6B forums, they sell..... F6B patches. Anyways.... You're right. I find the new Valkyrie's performance lackluster. It's the exact same engine as you're F6B but simply 150 lighter. So if I weight 250 lbs. on a Valkyrie and you weight 100 lbs. on an F6B, then we're basically riding the same bike. I don't share the common theme I see on here that the Valkyrie is the "best bike ever" regardless of it's generation. I've owned most of the larger displacement bikes from each manufacturer already. When I bought the Valkyrie it was the "best option" out of the other larger displacement bikes I haven't already owned. Is it the "best bike ever?" No. Will someone make something better one day? Probably. At some point in the future will I sell it and get something different? Yes. It's an alright bike overall, but just knowing it's a 150 lbs. lighter F6B doesn't impress me. To live up the name "power cruiser" it should.... I don't know, make more power than the bike they took the engine off? But it doesn't. It's simply slightly faster because it weighs less. Maybe I'm more critical of it's performance than others. Probably because I expected more of it than what it is and that's my fault.

Christy bought one, one of the first one's in Omaha. It is a great bike, she let me ride it a couple times. The stock seat sucks, Des doesn't want to make any more other than Michael's and Connie's, for the same reason, limited market. She is not a fan of the Corbin Seats, we have had several. Mark Hart from Hartco/Diamond Seats did modify hers and added a back rest, which ended up pretty nice. Christy did get a blue 1800 Valkyrie tee shirt at InZane this year.
It is a great bike, to bad they aren't selling. She gets a lot of attention when ever she rides it.

I've read thread after thread, post after post about the new Goldwing lineup and more specifically the Goldwing Valkyrie.
I think we all can agree that the Goldwing Valkyrie outdoes everything that the Honda Valkyrie can do. And it should. There's over 10 years of a gap between the 2 bikes and a lot of innovation happens within 10 years at this point in history.
The Honda Valkyrie appealed to a guy who wanted to rides a motorcycle hot rod. Big, powerful, chromed, with an engine that draws your eyes to it, rather than makes you look all over for it. This was not the audience that was sought for the Goldwing Valkyrie. And even though it's a technological dream to ride, the styling can't be overcome I guess for the masses. And Honda really didn't go crazy advertizing the Goldwing Valkyrie. Didn't see many ads, nothing on TV.
Like Oz, I live in a megalopolis. I see tons of Goldwings, very few F6B's, and no Goldwing Valkyries.
If Honda asked me, I would have told them to add the 1800 to a big cruiser styled frame and tins, then maybe add some more glitz with a double sided swingarm and 2 models....... a Standard and an Interstate. Kinda like a resto-mod in the hot rod world. Same frame and body with the modern drive train, suspension, brakes, etc. underneath. And show off the that Flat Six!!!!!!!

I was lucky enough to spend a nice day on the new valk when Psycho let me borrow his at Inzane. Certainly I now understand what hubcap went thru as Psycho is like 5' 4 if that and his bike was set up perfectly for a man of his dimensions not so much for 6 3 with LONG arms and legs It had LOTS of get up and go, we even (Wiggy and me) tried unsuccessfully to outrun a rainstorm after doing Needles Highway I wanna ride an F6b bad ! But not as much as I want a 2012 vette convertible Waiting for one to show up for 11k gonna be awhile
