Bambi was a buck.  That's a small doe.

Can't believe you'd do that to an innocent animal.   Angry

Nice work.  Glad you survived.   cooldude

Looks like Bambi.  Bambi's father was a buck.

It's a good thing that forest rat just lost its spots, just imagine what a full grown one could do! I am happy you could walk away from the scene.

Judging by the shadows, looks like mid day.  I thought these cretins were only supposed to be out and about at dusk and dawn?

What do you call one dead deer in the middle of the road?  A small start.  Only 99,999,999 to go, according to some estimates.  Glad you were the victor.

Go back and read the article from the link you posted.  The word "his" in reference to Bambi does indicate that Bambi was male.  Shocked  You would also know this if you watched the movie  cooldude  Yes, his father was a buck, but so was he.  Roll Eyes

The really young ones are not smart enough to wait for darkness. Seems when they are hungry, they go find something to eat.

Glad it is the deer laying in the roadway.

I was up by crane lake in Minnesota, voyagers national park {check  Smiley }

saw the deer over a quarter mile ahead of me. Did not like how it was moving, slowed up to 35-40 as I passed her.

moment of truth it runs right out in front of me..........BANG !

creased the fender dented the tank broke off a corner of the windshield and smashed the radiator

it was pretty cool {temp} wise that day my fan was not running still had the coolant below the breach

so I rode it 20ish miles to the main drag where I had it towed to a shop to fix it

replacement radiator was not available for a month and a half. found a used one in ohio had it airmailed to me.

Middle of no where up there, could have easily been a black bear or a wolf instead of the deer.  Beautiful country though.  Can't wait to see the rest of the pic's.
