Yes. Well... PR4... I'm going to have to pictures of the sidewall all
the way around next time I check the air so I'll know precisely what I
have... I keep the air right, all the grooves are still deep and I can
just feel the beginning of a flat-wear spot in the middle with my
palm. 3,000 miles. I was forced to change tires at 2,000 miles,
so my PR4 is a 190 - it was what they had in Murfreesboro on
a rainy Friday afternoon at 4:30...

Mike, from the pic you had, it indicated 2CT on the sidewall. That would indicate a Pilot 2CT:

A Pilot Road 4GT looks like this:

Here's a Pilot Power 3 with what looks like that 2ct thing embossed on it:

My buddy here at work told me that 2ct thing stood for... well, I forgot what
he said... but my receipt says "Pilot Road 4" on it, so I'm holding out hope
the sidewall will agree when I get to see it all the way around. Without
taking a picture, I can't read a tire's sidewall unless I position the bike so
that the sun is shining directly on it, and the sun don't shine under
my bags  Wink ... I'll have pictures from all the way around in a day or
so, maybe I can take them tonight. I've had so many wrong
tires on this bike I sure hope that I have a Pilot Road 4 on the back...
it must not be a GT since I'm sure I don't have the tread pattern
in your pictures...

Yes there is one person if you look at the tire threads you will find him. He said no problems and liked it.

16 000 km with the front tire (could have last more) and I changed for a Dunlop 408 F (HD guys have this one). I was fed up with the so slippery rear tire and I changed it (24 000 km, could have done 27 000 km but I didn't trust it at all) for a PR4 GT. Everything is fine now and my bike rides more like the balanced bmw I used to ride, almost.  Wink
Last winter, it was easy to see that I was driving 30 km/h slower than the beemers on wet highways  Cry

I want to get rid of the stock rear tire and was hoping to hear the bike handles OK with the PR4GT and stock up front.  I thought the GT model was for heavier bikes?

Thanks,

Sorry to be so mysterious about it... with the bags on there, I
have to roll the bike around until I see the valve stem at
the very bottom, and then lie down on the ground on the
low side (kick stand side - because of the rotor) to even
put air in it. If "the interesting thing" isn't printed on
the sidewall right where the valve stem is, I don't
see it...
