Riding down the road today, my side cover exited the bike, aided by the wind. Apparently the top rubber grommet is missing (of the 3 that hold the panel on), and only the fact that it caught on my leg kept it from falling under a car tire.
I live in Hawaii, and there's no 'quick' way to get parts here. Anyone know if these grommets are common, and readily available in a store? If not, how do I begin to order something like this?
Thanks for your help, Steve

Does anyone know if he can order this directly form Hondaline? https://www.servicehonda.com Also, in a pinch, I know my local hardware store (Ace) has drawers with different rubber grommets.

Search this forum or the f6cforum.com because someone replaced theirs with "better" ones from an auto parts store.

I've been ordering OEM parts from BikeBandit.com and have had excellent results. Hondapartshouse.com was mentioned on this forum but I have no experience. Both sites have full blowups of the parts diagrams and ordering is / seems easy, only problem are minimum order requirements for shipping discounts.

Thanks folks, I found one in a random pack of 10 at Autozone, it looks like it will hold. It's interesting that, of the 3 grommets, they're not all the same. 2 are round, one oval. Unnecessarily complex.
The one I found fits, but I put a round one in an oval hole, so I'll be ordering the right ones asap.
I want to thank all of you who reached out so quickly. The bike is my daily commuter, so getting this addressed asap was important to me.
Another reason this site is my first 'read' every day. Thanks! Steve

Just a heads up the bottom grommet is mounted in a tab that bends and does not go in easily. A little silicon grease or spray will help considerably. Its also a pain trying to get the thing off as it almost breaks the tab.
