my fog led lights came in last week, they fit nicely in the cowl and installing was pretty easy with the plug in plays.  i got these mostly for safety.... to be seen in the daytime. however i hear a lot about adding light at night .  the other day,.... night did not seem to make a big difference with the fogs being on or off.  i am wondering about adjusting, and has anyone with led fog lights had to do adjustments, and if so, is there a central bean of light that a person can see on a wall for the adjustments, (to see it move for adjusting?) i heard that the light from these lights are more wide spread , rather than a beam.

Fog lights are made to disperse light low and wide. The closer to the road, the better. Yes, they will throw a beam of a sorts, so you can see the adjustment. I did mine by parking in front of my garage door, and adjust the lights to focus the same distance apart as the difference between the lights. As in, if there is 3 feet between the actual lights, there is 3 feet between the beam on the door. Fog lights will really only be seen well in the fog........Just sayin'lol. If you want to add more light at night, you'll need a set of passing lights or similar cooldude

If you move back from a wall or door about 10 to 15 feet and focus the lights to about the same level as the lights themselves or slightly lower then you should get the most light. Most of the lights I have seen do not have a side to side adjustment partly because they throw a wide low beam. When you hit the highs and have the cowl lights on you have a pretty good full illumination of the road even at a distance.

rusty - the mass amount of added light i notice with my foglight is to the side. Lights up the ditches really nicely from 0 to 25 ft ahead of me compared to the stock headlight (low or highball) at night. i didn't need to do any adjustments but i didn't install - a honda tech did. In his notes, he didn't do anything special with fitting the lights in the cowl. hope that helps.
