Hey, the tip on fender of our trike came loose during a ride. Didn't know it, actually one of the nuts fell off and the other one got loose. From all of the bouncing the tip moved and scratched the paint. I know I can get the Honda red and white. The question is, is the orange a pin stripe or is it actually paint?

Hey Don...  I believe it's a pin stripe, with the Clear Coat over it.  You may be able to match the color with paint.

It is a decal... I have no skill in that kind of stuff, a painter would probably
want to paint it back, but the decal kit is (was?) available from Honda...

I agree it's a decal but once in place clear coat is applied to finish the job. FWIW

Prez, no big deal on the meet & Greets. We know how things are.

On the pin stripe, we actually only need about 12"-18" just for the touch up. Do you have it by the roll or can we get a short piece?

Thanks Dude

Don , I sent you a PM. We are going to be in Milwaukee on Sunday or I can send you the needed amount. ( or a road trip) The stripe is made by 3M,Scotchcal 70268 1/8 by 40 ft.
It is available at auto paint stores by ordering . I will give you what you need, You can use a rattle can clear coat to seal.

Hey Prez,

Thanks for the info. We are not going to be around on Sunday so we will just order some. Thanks for the part number for 3M, really appreciate it.
We'll get together sometime soon,

Don
