Before and after 9-11 I worked in that area at a FBI site.  There is a fair number of scenic rides that involve covered bridges.  You should consider planning your rides to some of them.

Another spot to visit is Flight 93 National Memorial.  Never forget.

Not sure I will make it to this one. I do like that it is very close to my old stomping grounds as a yute, I really do miss riding in that part of the country. I have very good memories of the mountains in the fall and winter, even got caught in a few snow storms on the bike.

Nice, Thanks for posting the info. I'd like to get up that way for InZane and maybe I can talk some of our pan-handle Valk brothers into the trip too!  coolsmiley

There are some tremendous roads and rides in West by God Virginny! My good bud Paul and I just had a tremendous 4 day trip fall of 2014 all the way from Connecticut through a lot of WV. Would be fun to do it again. cooldude

Morgantown is an excellent choice, and close to home for me. If you want a nice ride, go south on I-79 to Clarksburg and east on Route 50, then ride as long as time allows. Its a nice windy road, you will be able to check your own brake lights on some of the curves.

West Virginia is a great State for riding. I do not believe the is a straight stretch of road any where in the whole State, more than 1/2 a mile long. Even the Interstates are crooked!!!!!
