the Whistlestop Cafe in Juliette lately? I would like to take the wife but the reviews have not been good probably 50/50 with slow service not so good food the main complaints. I would like some of those fried green tomatoes and the wife liked the movie to boot. May just have to go anyway. Rode down their today and it sure smelled good. Anyone?

I've not eaten in there but I HAVE been to the bike collection a guy has just across the train tracks in the old mill. Worth $7

There's more than 22 bikes, this web site is wrong

the tomatoes are good....the fried chicken too.....but the place gets covered up with folks on the weekends...long wait times are common.....there are some small shops to look in along the street there and the museum across the railroad tracks......it's about an 85 mile ride from my house to there one way.....

Don't know about the food. My oldest brother was a carpenter on the set of the movie. The town was just like you see at the end of the movie when the cameras got there. They shot the ending first then cleaned it up for the rest. Some beautiful countryside around them parts. Also, up the road is High Falls State Park which is pretty nice or Indian Springs.
