I can not imagine having a dad that was into anything motor wise or a shop like that to work in growing up.  My Dad was only into Computers -- Yes 8" dual drive floppys at the house in the late 70s!  tickedoff  I was ripping everything apart out in the garage and putting it back together.  Had my first Yamaha 80 at that age.
