Hi!

I would like to calculate the master cylinder/slave cylinder ratio.

The Honda Valkyrie service manual shows the master cylinder size, but there is nothing showing the slave cylinder dimensions.

Does anyone have a slave cylinder available to measure its outside diameter? It would be very appreciated!

TIA!

The brass colored piston (in the middle of the pic, to the left of the encircled rubber oil seals). It would be great to have the outside diameter of that piston.
It is part #7 in the diagram just below that pic.
Thanks!  Smiley

I had already looked at that pic and had estimated an OD of 1 3/8 inch (35 mm).
I'm hoping that someone has one on a shelf and would therefore be able to measure it.
Thanks! Much appreciated!  cooldude

Here ya go Normand. I happened to have a new ass'y. in my "stash" so here's what I came up with. Looks to be 36mm, since I dropped the mic the dial hasn't been on target but the slide should give you an idea. When I close it all the way, I can zero the dial OK after which it should read zero when on an even/distinct number like a 10 or a 50mm setting, but doesn't. One day I'll replace it.....and one day I'll be rich instead of good looking!  2funny    (wonder what else I have out there I've forgotten about?)
