So for the new Valk, looking to get at least a cell phone holder so I can bluetooth to my helmet and have my GPS on my phone in front of me... Should I want it. The angle of the bars made my old holder not work, and I have the factory windscreen to work around/with as well.

I looked at tank bags, but because of the way the fuel tank fuel door is arranged, the tank bags don't seem like a good option.

So looking for options. What methods do you use to put things within your ability to glance at should you want it?

I'm also interested in what other accessories others have found beneficial. I don't want it all tricked out with things like cup holders, radios and such, as I like the clean lines of the new Valk.

I used the clutch reservoir Kuryakyn Tech Connect mount. Works well. I put it on the throttle side as I have a Bluetooth stereo mounted in the windshield. I use my clutch hand to change volume/track, etc.

I also have a Ram Mount style. It has a u-bolt with a 1" ball. I then have the medium/small arm from the ball to their universal phone holder (4 arms that are spring loaded and hold the phone).

I usually charge the phone from a switched usb cable. Then I either use my Scala blue tooth or a Sony blue tooth to my custom ear plugs and listen all day. That keeps the wires from the head phones from blowing in the wind.

(that sounds like a song)

I can send a picture to you phone if you want to see it.

I'm using Bracketron's Goldwing mounts.  For the left side I heated the plate and reversed the angle, rather than use their left side mount, as I personally wanted it lower.

Techmount also makes some low profile mounts.

I use a small Hopnel fuel door pouch made for a Goldwing fuel door, works the same for the Valk fuel door. About $25.

Search fleebay for motorcycle cell phone mount, lots of good choices. I have a model spec mount for my Samsung Note 4, had same mount for years with my Samsung S4, clamps to any size bar. They make a universal mount with same style handlebar clamp.

My Ram Mount on which I fix a TomTom 125 GPS (2nd hand, 100 €) in a waterproof case, much cheaper than a bike GPS (400 $).

I used the ram mount and have a Honda wind shield. Took the shield off drilled 2 holes in center of cross bracket  for windshield. The base mount has oblong holes in it for included u bolts . The spread on the holes work perfict on the flat cross bracket and holds the phone or gps just above the spedo head directly in line of sight. Used the straight bolts came with the setup. Mounted a direct wired cig liter USB accessory to handlebar on right of spedo to plug phone or GPS in. I did do the wind shield mod to jack the bottom of the windshield out to match the angle of the forks. So I have a lot more room between the spedo and shield but I test fit it before the mode and would have worked either way. I used the 1 1\2 inch u bolt link as described in another thread here to make that mod which worked great to eliminate the buffeting experienced with Honda shield. All is good. Ready to ride. cooldude
