More than likely a SCAM . It is amazing how many good deals show up during the holidays when the banks are closed for three days. Usually the bike is in some place where you can't drive a few hours to see the bike and pay cash or cashier check( it is getting hard to tell a phony cashier check from a real one). or the banks is closed where your bank can not tranfer money from your account to his bank account. Like the old saying if it to good to be true it probbly is

There is little doubt in my mind that it is a scam.  Evidently there is something sacred about the $2800.00 figure, because that seems to be a popular number that I have seen them use many times in the past.  In this particular case I think I remember seeing the same bike listed previously in a questionable ad.

That same bike was listed here. Same pictures same bike. Its pictures are in a Southwestern setting with cactus and such.
