I could be talked into this if anyone else from my area wants to go.  We did not make the party that day thinking that some might be going to biketoberfest.  Speaking of, is anyone planning on going to BTF?

This was the location of my first gathering with this group some years ago. I have to work however and won't be making this ride. Great food and a nice ride over there if you go up Hwy 17.

I'd like to see BTF this year, so makes sense to me (so far) to get to Daytona in the morning 9:30 or 10 a.m., hang around till 12 or 1p.m. then mosey along to Welaka about an hour away. There may be enough to do and see at Destination Daytona (Ormond Beach), which is a little shorter ride to lunch. Don't want to make it confusing about a time to meet for lunch so let's say walk in at 2:30, tire kickin anytime before that, story tellin always seems to short to me so even 1 o'clock isn't to early to visit with friends outside. Of course if the majority wants to eat first then go to BTF it's all good with me.

I ran across a gentleman named George on the tech board.  He is in Jacksonville and I invited him to show up for lunch and sent him a link to the Florida Board.  I hope he shows up, he sent me a picture of his bike and I think all will be impressed with his paint job.  Glad you are starting to nail down the time.  We can eat in shifts if we have too large a crowd. Smiley  I am not going to Daytona so probably will try to be there in the early crew around 1.

If I can get enough of the preparations done that I have to do for Sunday, by Friday evening, I might be up for a BTF run on Saturday. I will keep you posted, Nick.

So, I'm trying to get a handle on where and what time.   Undecided  l assume that you all are planning to meet Saturday, 10/17, at Destination Daytona, and that 1 pm would be a good time. How am I doing so far? Destination Daytona is a big place, but since lunch has been mentioned, I assume the food court around back? I've not been there for Biketoberfest. Is the layout about the same as during March Bike Week?

I'm going to try to show up, but it's a big place with lots of bikes and folks, so a little clarity would be great. Thanks in advance, and hope to see you there. cooldude

I will be at DD (Destination Daytona) about 10a.m. depart there at 12p.m. for Welaka.

Last time, we met at the rest area, we went on to have breakfast and then to Destination.
If we are looking at doing the same thing, we might have to meet earlier since it will take us about one hour plus, depending on traffic.

We will wait and see what time Nick wants to meet since he is coming from the west coast.

What you say Nick?

I think Gil, Jerry and I are going to take Hwy 44 into Ormand Bch. I will wait to see what Gil says, not sure if we are going to Destination Daytona or just over to JP Cycles? I am down for whatever they want to do.

Nick

JP Cycles and Destination are in the same place, the place where you got the pin stripping done last year.
If you guys are taking a straight route then I might just meet Larue and we can make it a straight shot as well.

Seems like it will be a good turn out  cooldude

This is diverse for sure however the Welaka being final destination on the out sounds great to us!

Nnnnnn-ick,

Gill is not going to make it. JP and I will take the O-N-F roads to S-R-US Welaka. so you can find Jack and Larue or fly in the country and stay away from the city with us.

It looks near impossible to park by Houligans , so let's avoid that as a gathering point, better spot will be at the Intersection of SR 40 and 17, there is a Kangaroo on the SE corner, leave there by 1130. Pete let us know you got this or I will call you.
