Yeah, too bad. My uncle had one on his bike when I was a kid. I didn't find out until recently what the brand was, but when I saw one recently, I recognized it right away after all these years.

like this rare bates fairing, first time I've seen one on a bike other than the advertisements.

Not to cr@p in your thread...too much...  Evil But that's worth hosting/posting the pic.  I've seen a lot of threads where an ebay/other ad is posted, and weeks, months, years later the thread is still viable, but the pics are long gone...  This will stay for awhile; until some cager takes me out and the wife doesn't pay the bill... Cheesy

I'd bet it's aerodynamic, but, but, REALLY fugly.

just needs one of those clear headlight bubbles to complete it. (actually put one on my std/tourer headlight)  That fairing kinda grows on you over time, at least it does me.
that's for posting it.  cooldude

I thought of buying that whole bike just to get that fairing. Just think how dry you'd be on a rainy day. It's like being parked in the garage while you ride.
The only thing that stopped me was the thought of all the kids pointing and laughing at me. Plus I'm not sure I could afford all the gallons of paint it would take.

that fairing has a somewhat small windshield might not be two dry.
if u want protection, this is what I have, the largest Rifle windshield, baker air wings, an extra set of just their large panel to use as foot shields, wired between the cylinder head and crash bar, Memphis shades large fork shields, (rifle sells their version, I just already had the Memphis) and a set of hand shields.

CA, can you post some pics of your bike? I like the big Rifle Raven fairing, but I'm not sure about the two "eyes" up front. Thanks,

what is also nice is there is some adjustment up and down and the angle.
