I'm trying to find an Interstate tank. Damaged is OK, just as long as the front and the rear of the tank still have the shape.  Side dents, or holes OK too.

Here is the reason...  There is a place that makes very cool Tank Bibs -

http://peacefulcruisin.com/index.html

The problem is that at this time, he can only do Standard or Tour Valkyries.  If you look at the link, you will understand why he needs an IS tank...  Sort of like a 'mold' to use.

Not affiliated with the vendor, just trying to help, as I'd like a bib like this for my Valk.

See my wanted ad in the Classifieds if you can help.

I second the motion! cooldude I too have been looking for an IS tank for the same purpose. There was a scratch and dent from Pinwall recently on FleaBay that went for over 400. It apparently wasn't trashed enough to be cheap. Hopefully someone will come along with just the right tank so we can have some of those bibs made for Interstates. I'll pitch in with some $$ when we find one.

I called PinWall yesterday, and the gal I spoke to said that 'EVERY' tank that they get in, no matter how badly damaged, does go up on their eBay site.  She said they know someone, somewhere will have a use for it  Wink

I'll keep lookin', you keep lookin', and as far as $$ goes, Rob (the guy that makes the bibs) says he is willing to put something in to it too, just does not want to pay $800 for a pattern tank.

Can't someone that owns an Interstate and lives near him go by for him to get a pattern. Surely someone is close by him with one so you don't have to buy one just for a pattern. Cool

Take the link, and look at the bibs he makes...  Each one, is 'molded' to the rear portion of the tank, thus his need for a tank in his shop.
