Is it still to early to worry?  Haven't had rain down here in weeks and now the three days I wont to go it is supposed to rain here and in the Hill Country!  If the rain is lite or sporadic I would probably still go. Hope the weather guys are wrong. I rode there in 2013 and there was a threat of rain, but it turned out beautiful. Let us know if plans change.

I am watching it too.   Worse case I will drive one of the cages down.  My wife is wanting to spend time in Fredericksburg anyway.

I may have to drive down regardless..   Have pulled something in my back... not pleasant at moment.  ARGHHH

I have been wet before and it never ruined a trip. Bring extra socks and a good rain suit.
I am more worried about all the campers out at Luckenbach. Mud does suck in your tent. I have never been on a long trip that I did not go thru some rain. A little sun and some wind dries things out fast.

This morning they are calling for 100% chance of rain on Friday and 90% Saturday!! I ride in the rain too when caught, but don't want to head into it for two days solid. Still watching and waiting.

Yeah, it's 100% chance of rain, thunderstorms with some possibly severe, and a 90% chance of rain on Saturday. I'm going to watch it, and hope it changes. Have 48 hours (Wednesday) to cancel the room. If it still looks the same tomorrow evening, Vita and I are going to bow out.

Sure hope something changes!

Yeah, been keeping an eye on the weather there too.  Right now it sux!

But remember, this is Texas so it can change drastically from day to day, hour to hour, etc...
It's already changed since yesterday, gotten worse but changed. Maybe in the next couple of days it'll change for the better (fingers crossed).

Discussed it with the wife yesterday and we'll probably still go as we (mainly her) really need to get out of town!!

Not yet sure if we'll bring the bike. I'm not a fan of riding in the rain or wet pavement and especially on unfamiliar roads with a passenger.

Brew , are you still going? We had 5 inches here today and a possible another 10 inches Saturday. Too wet for me to travel and have a good time.

Another room is available as Vita and I are bowing out. Getting caught in the rain is one thing, but an entire weekend of rain isn't my cup of tea! Just don't want to spend $300 to basically sit around a hotel. We'd rather hold off, and go when the weather is more cooperative.

Maybe next year  Cry
