Just got a storm before I left MI for CA. I looked at the curve but like the bigger screen on the storm. FYI - verizon $$$ Buy one get one Storm=$49 after rebate with 8gig card Curve=$49 no card Tour=$233 I'd go storm again personally...using it on this post (broke down in Joplin Missouri)

I looked at them all when I began my search for the new phone and wound up with the Curve. I will stand by the toughness for sure as I've dropped more times than I like to admit and it still keeps on ticking. My buddy dropped his off his bike at 50 mph went back and it was in one piece and still uses it. I text a lot and the curve fitted my needs much better than a touch screen I hope you enjoy yours just remember to close out applications or it will slow down your phone really bad

My wife had a Curve for 2 years and she loved it. Recently we both got the new Tour and we like it even better. Considered the Storm but various user reviews mentioned it being too brittle (I am ROUGH on phones!) and the phone "resetting itself" all the time. Although, the large screen and the various apps got great reviews.
Rumor has it a new, improved Storm is going to be released by the end of the year. If you can wait, might be worth it. Regardless, I have to say with my Tour I also picked up an Otter Box case, and it is outstanding. Highly recommended.

Just picked up a Storm the other day. Having data is new to me on a handheld (other than my IPod touch that required hotspot location). Typing is a tad tricky but wanted the full screen. It seems a bit slower running scripts and displaying websites...don't know if that's a function of the internal workings and processing speed or the network. The salesman said the Tour was faster. I'm liking this so far and will most likely be the ticket for the kind of communication I do. If in the corporate setting, the Tour would most likely be necessary.

I have a honest question.
How on earth do you actually type on those things?? I have big paws, but they are not Sasquatchesqe and yet a thumb would cover 1/4th of the keyboard. I have to be careful on the laptop for goodness sake. If they make the buttons on cell phones any smaller I will be dialing like Mr Ed with a pencil in my mouth.

I went cheap so could get the keyboard.. I got an LG VX11000 Digital. (LG EnV Touch) Only $400 retail. Since I already use Verizon I got it for $0 online. It has so many apps I still havn't figured them all out 2 months later. But, it's fun. And I can actually type on the inside keyboard. Internet, email, maps(VZ Navigator), mobile im, games, removable sd mini card. So far it does everything I can imagine. Short of a pc and land phone and still fits in my pocket !
