Had it off at 50k for a 'professional' to look at it. Back then he said the brushes should last another 50k. Im at almost 100k so since riding season is over might as well take it off. Told him to replace everything that needs it before the next 50k. He asked if it still charges and I said yes. He said good cause some parts are getting hard to find. Should be done tomorrow he says.

Prob do the starter this spring. He did it at 5-k also and replaced a bearing I believe. Gosh I hate taking the starter out.  Angry

Hes having trouble finding some bearings. He had one left. Its a standard outside diameter but the inside diameter is large and hard to find. He said Honda wont release parts so he cant get them from them.

Hes worked on lot of wing alts as he is a wing rider.

"Front seal: CR8845
Front bearing: 6022DU
Rear bearing: 6000DU"

Think the front bearing maybe 60/22DU (22x44x12) not 6022DU as it is 110x170x28
6000DU comes up as 10x26x8.
Bearings with the forward slash in the number are usually designated as motorcycle bearings.
