I have offically joined the Valkyrie family!!!!

OK, here is my report. I behaved myself very well, until I made the next to last turn to my house. At that point, I had almost 1.5 niles of straightaway in front of me. I had a couple of cages ahead of me that were actually going over the speed limit, but that was not good enough for me. I downshifted to 3rd, opened it up, and  went from 60 - 105 in about 600 feet. I do not find the bike particularly loud, but it is definitely HOWLING at 6500 - 7000 rpm. I have yet to stop grinning. Now, I just have to find the time (hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday) to get it registered. In any case, I will be riding the Valk to our first couple of rides and get togethers.

CONGRATS DON!  Very happy for you and your newest edition. That GRIN will take some time to go away, you will find that it returns to your face every time you look at or think about the phat girl.
Ride safe.

Congrats Don

Now you have a choice of rides  cooldude

It is gong to be weird to see you in another ride other than your Harley, now you have to come up with another unique vanity plate.

Wink congratulation Don on that great looking Tourer. Now when you want to ride with the bad asses you take the Harley out. Then when you want to have some fun you take the valk out and blow by them with a big grin on your face Grin. You've got 2 nice cruisers, enjoy

It's 9PM Monday night and Lesa and I pretty much haven't stopped since OldFrt headed up the highway with the bike. I could hear the exhaust for 3 or 4 minutes after he left. What a sound!
We had to go up North of Macon Georgia right after he left with the bike and the rain never let up the entire time we were there and until almost around Valdosta on the way back! Glad the bike is continuing to bring a smile. It sure did for us.

Pappy, I can't thank you enough for selling me the Valk. I am STILL grinning over the acceleration and the sound. What a ROCKET!!!!! Grin Grin Grin

Gil, With any luck, I will have my tag on it on Tuesday morning, and if work allows, will bring it to Weeki Wachee on Wednesday evening. You can bet I won't be parking it on the back row, either!!!! coolsmiley

Well Hell....I see where we rate! (Can you say chopped liver)
How come you didn't honk the horn when we/you passed? Could have pulled into a rest area and relaxed for a few.

I thought about RIC RKT, or RCE RKT, but those had both been taken, also. I ended up taking someone's suggestion (I believe it was Larue) and ended up with OLFRT2.
