The Commander 2 has been on the rear of my Interstate for the last 10,000 miles, the Tourmaster on the front for 8,000.  Both have been smooth and quiet, grip well wet or dry and appear to be wearing well.  Ridden on a daily commute, as well as a 5,000 mile trip to San Diego and back.  42 and 40 psi, respectively.  Photos attached for your viewing pleasure.   Smiley

Agree  cooldude...what size is the Commander II?  Does Mich' make a Commander front tire that would fit our Valk's?

Unfortunately Michelin does not make Commander 2's to fit the Valkyrie, and the rear is a 180/65-16 instead of the factory 180/70-16.  If I remember correctly, that makes the tire 1/3" shorter which is negligible in my opinion.  I was not willing to put a shorter tire on the front where it would effect the speedometer.

The Commander II for the rear is only about a quarter inch short, but it is a bias.  If I ran bike tires in back, I'd try one.

I have run a Commander II radial front in 140 75 17 and it is over a half inch short, but it is a great handling, riding and sticking tire..... unfortunately, despite all the press on longevity, I only got just over 7K on it.  I did not really notice the shortness.  And the interstate has an electronic speedo.  About $50 cheaper than my usual ME880.
