Getting ready to desmog and since the bike is 17 years old, thought I would go ahead and replace the O rings I have been reading about on the "intake runners."  I read where the size is 123 and to get the special compound rubber.  They arrived today and I am surprised at the size.  These things are a good 1 3/16" wide.  Can this be right?  Maybe I am not understanding what is meant by an "intake runner."  I have been searching for a photo without luck.

If you are talking about the intake manifold (tubes between carb & motor) that is probably correct.
Don't have any pictures and haven't measured one.

The intake runner tubes are the chrome tubes between the carburetors and the the cylinder heads. They are held to the head with 2 fasteners and  a screw clamp at the top. Easy fast job.
