I bought a bank of carburetors for my Interstate. Is there a way to identify if that is the model they are really for?

I've bought and swapped carbs from several Valks and of every type, standard, tourer, and I/S. So far as I've been able to tell they are all identical. But a quick check on partzilla.com identifies  3 different part numbers for the 97, 98 through '03, and Interstate models.

I thought some internal springs were different. But I don't know.

I/S carbs have different slide springs.
Calf carbs a few extra vacuum ports for emissions than 49 state carbs
besides that all carbs are the same size throat diameter and jetting.

I think Interstate have fewer turns per inch.  This allows the slide to open faster.  Looking at the parts fiche you will be able to identify which you have.

The very first year had different needles. Slightly richer..
My service manuals lists the ID numbers for the carbs (both Aussie version and a State side version of the manuals)
What the actual differences are is not stated.

Thanks all. Soon as my Ultrasonic cleaner comes in tomorrow, I am breaking those things all apart. No matter what they are.
