If you're using the Cobra lightbar that mounts to the forks and not under the headlight then the answer is yes.

I don't have a good close-up shot, but here is my bike with that combo.

Yes, that bar will work. You have to loosen the lights & tilt them forward to install/remove the shield. Slipping a sock over the lights is a good idea also while doing that.

There is a difference in the part # for light bar for 97 thru 99 year model and 2000 and beyond. Make sure you get the light bar for the year model run bike you have (the signal light connection is different).

Thanks for the information. I purchased a 2001 std.with the Cobra Light Bar a few weeks ago. The spots were not working until I replaced a fuse and the connectors to the switch (the switch is terrible). I intend to install a Honda windshield, I like the look of the headlight comming thru the hole but it looked tricky to get on.

For others that may need it, this switch is an exact replacement for the Cobra one. I don't know if it's any longer-lived, though - but it's readily available and inexpensive

Not to hijack the thread, but would it be pretty easy to completely change out the cobra lights on the bar to a pair of HIDs or some other type of spot?

Hey Kingbee.........Im planning on cutting out the lower portion of the shield that goes around the headlight to make it easier to remove and install, until then...instead of loosening the spots I found all I have to do is turn one so its facing 45° to the outside and then I can easily work the shield off around the other one. No loosening and no tightening required....try it

Thank you Chris. I had subsequently removed the lower portion of the headlight surround, which made shield removal a snap.
