Big hands and clutch bleeding

I want to replace the OEM nipple with a speed bleeder.
Problem is I can't do a quick change cause of my big mitts.
If I drain the fluid out and then replace the nipple will I have a problem then filling the system with brake fluid successfully and no air in it?

You'll probably have a problem getting fluid to start flowing, but after
that you should be successful. I have speed bleeders, but my priming
trick involves a quick change...

I don't think I would do a thing. Just wrap a rag around the line, remove the old bleeder and install the new.
But, then I do things the old fashioned way. There is room for me to get my hands in there to manually bleed the clutch. So I don't know what else to say, sorry.

Not sure what the problem is. I changed to speed bleeders and got it no hurry when I got one out then the other in. Very little fluid loss. Just make sure you leave the resevoir covers on when doing so. It creates a vacuum where the fluid will not flow fast.

Next time I'm due for a clutch flush I'll try to remember that. Thanks.
I'll make a note on my maintenance spread sheet.
