I was at my local Pepboys today and one of the guys there came by with a shopping cart with 2 of these on.

Definity.

Caught my attention cause I thought it kinda looked like an Austone Taxi tire.

What exactly are you looking at there? Seems like a home page in the link.

The tire in question is on that page, down toward the bottom. I like the look of the tire, but is asymmetrical, and most prefer a symmetrical tire. I don't know why, because I ran asymmetrical for several thousand miles, and never had an issue cooldude

Looks nice, and good stats, but 225-60 might be too wide for our use. 205-55 to 65 is the current trend for the Valk.

I was able to select 205/60-16 on the pulldown menus just to see if it was available.  However as for me,  I don't buy anything from Pep Boys anymore.  After they screwed up an aborted commercial purchase for glasspacks when they nearly doubled the wholesale price so I went to my other supplier - they put me into their collection system for the non-existant transaction and wouldn't correct it with my proof I had made the purchase elsewhere - they kept sending collection letters; my calls and letters ignored; I finally threatened to sue them and haven't heard again lately.  At least they aren't on my credit report.

But that's just me.  I'd advise, stay away from their commercial operation, or anything that might require CS intervention. Those operations at Pep Boys are dysfunctional.

Damn car tires. Man, you would think you are on a motorcycle or something.
Just proves that a car tire can corner.
I love my CT. People always ask "how does that work" and I tell them "just like a MT" don't even know it is back there.
