To anyone who is in kansas or surrounding areas...

Black Pearl's Captain (Raymond) called me and is wanting to do a "meet for lunch" ride to Allen,ks to my favorite burger joint.. Main Street Pub and Grill.  408 Main St, Allen, KS‎...  They have great daily specials and their burgers are amazing...  It is a very small town and is the only restaurant in Allen, it isn't much to look at but the folks behind that door and the locals make it what it is... I was there today to heckle them for not being open last monday but I quickly changed the subject when that homemade cherry pie with vanilla ice cream was placed in front of my eyes...   Cheesy   Yummy!!!  In case you don't know where it is here is a link to a street view of the place.. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=408+Main+St,+Allen,+KS%E2%80%8E&sll=38.655052,-96.169724&sspn=0.014779,0.025814&ie=UTF8&ll=38.655161,-96.169735&spn=0.00739,0.012907&z=17&iwloc=r0&layer=c&cbll=38.65524,-96.169732&panoid=flIz1d0kiTCk1-G2_NHVvQ&cbp=12,128.93,,0,3.65  It is the building on the left of the street (water tower is behind it).  Also, you can go to the map view by clicking here..  http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=main+street+pub+allen,ks&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=60.376022,105.732422&ie=UTF8&ll=38.655153,-96.169724&spn=0.014779,0.025814&z=16

You can park on the otherside of the street (in the shade) and it is paved so you don't have to park on gravel  cooldude

Hope to see everyone there... Raymond said that we should shoot to be there by 1pm.  I am going to be in council grove (15 miles west of allen on 56 hwy) in front of Hayes House on the park bench waiting at 12:15 to see any valkyrie rolling through early Smiley

Hope to see you there if you can make it....  JD don't worry they don't serve chicken!!!

Joe, wish i could make it, but have already committed myself to going on a poker run out of Holton.

Really enjoyed the ride to Chanute and getting the chance to meet and ride with you, had a great time. Your Tourer is a beautiful  bike, really like the way it is dressed.

Be safe. Charlie

Hi Charlie!

Yeah I had a great time riding with you and I am sure you will be able to make it another time.  You got a great deal on your I/S... It was a good time... Holler at me anytime you want to ride.  You have a safe and fun trip up to Holton, watch out for all those "Geri's" going to the casino!!  2funny   Hwy 75 can be a bit spooky with all that traffic going in and out of Harrah's...

Take care buddy cooldude

Valkhound it was nice having you lead the group once again. I sure hope momma is easy on you with the time off repayment your going to have.

It was a darn good day for a ride and even better company at the lunch.

Cyndi and I enjoyed the ride and the company even more. It was an honor to meet Captain and his family, see Valkhound and Stude again! Even with Stude miss leading the group about some fantasy hamburger joint he keeps ranting about!! Missed not seeing Willow and Motomama, as well as Hoser. Hopefully, we can do it again sometime soon, maybe Stude will actually be able to produce the " best hamburger" he keeps raving about.

Dana, congrats on the anniversary hope you had a great evening Saturday Night! JDW

Alright alright.... They really do have awesome burgers.  I did ride to the restaurant on the way home and found a sign in the window that Bob (owner of the restaurant) was re-admitted into the Critical Care Unit of a topeka hospital.  Bob is only 45 and he had a bypass done a earlier this year when he had a heart attack that he didn't know he had while helping burning the fields.  Well after they did the bypass the gave him medicine that was suppose to thin his blood but it thickened it...  Long story short he lost blood flow to the lower parts of his legs and had to have them amputated.  That little town of allen did a fundraiser for him and raised well over 30k dollars.  I had the fortune to see bob right after he got his new legs.  He was in great spirits and boy is he a story teller...

We will never get out of their if him and Valkhound get together  2funny 2funny  Love the stories Dana but you two together...oh my!!!   Anyhow... I was saddened to see him back in the CCU so hopefully he will be getting better soon...

Willow, motomama, and hoser wish you guys could have come...  I thought Engemt was going to get all "choked up" again but he didn't!  Cheesy

Until next time...
