It's a rally in Fayetteville, Arkansas later this month.  A few of us here in Colorado are thinking of riding there.  Has anyone attended?  Is it worth the trip?  And if so, where should we stay?  The motels are full in Fayetteville, so any suggestions for surrounding places in the Ozarks would be appreciated!

There will be plenty of bikes to look at and also a lot of vendors, although they are not Valkyrie vendors. All kinds of good roads to ride. And plenty of good food and music. Of course I'm from southern Arkansas and might be a little bit prejudice. lol
As for a place to stay, there are a lot of little towns close to Fayetteville where you might get a room. Eureka Springs comes to mind, and maybe Springdale. Or if you don't mind camping, Devil's Den State Park has a great camping area. There are probably more places to stay close to there. Maybe someone from that area will chime in.

Plenty of bikes is right!! It gets pretty crowed, but there is lots to do and see.
There is good riding in all directions and most all the hwys are in good condition.

I agree with Mike on Eureka Springs, its a nice ride from Fayetteville. It is a biker friendly little town in the hills with lots of good rooms. This in in the down town area, lots of shops and eats with a couple good biker bar and grills.  Cheesy  Cheesy Cheesy

Here bikes are parked along the street leading to the corner in above pic.
Another shot up the main drag from a walk way over the street

I live in nw. ar.   I would offer you a room and bath, but have friends  from out of state that might need em.  Anyway if it were me I would try rooms in Siloam Springs or in towns on the west side  Of Fayetteville.   I know that there are one heck of a lot of bikes that go the the event.  As far as the rally goes,  I just don't like crowds all that much, but I have test rode a whole bunch of bikes while there.  Still didn't find one I like as much as the Valk.
