She won't start. The battery is good and I cleaned the starter button. It started out where I had to hit the starter button several times before it made contact and now won't do nothing. I am now thinking it may be the solenoid, but how could I test it with a multi-meter? This picture where I drew lines, if I jumped these two, shouldn't it start if the solenoid is good?

Thanks in advance.  Smiley

My thought is that if it changed after you messed with the switch, then you messed up the switch.  It is possible to clean it and put it back together so it won't work

Yes, if you bridge the two contacts that you marked the engine will turn over. If it does then make sure that the switch bridge contact and spring are working freely.

Jeff that is the only reason I cleaned it because it wouldn't start. I followed Rattlebars instruction to the letter. I'm thinking solenoid or kickstand

Thanks Bons, and I might check into the Digi System

I re read where you indicated that the starter was intermittent before cleaning the switch and then nothing after.  If you have that contact stuck too far in its groove rather than free to bounce up and down on its spring, well it may not be making contact

I believe  now the start  button is fine. I jump the two contact in the pic and the solenoid clicked. Do you know how to check  it with a multi tester?

Thanks Britman, some good info there! Mine is cleaner than new now and found that wasn't the trouble anyway....the solenoid is bad.
