I've bought a couple of Kury items, cup holder, pegs, etc, and am not impressed with the chrome quality. The cupholder started rusting within a couple of months, the peg hardware started rusting by the end of the first season installed. I hesitate to purchase anything else.
The only time the bike gets wet is if I get caught in it. I keep a pretty good eye on weather forecasts...

Most of my Kury stuff over the years has done pretty well. Things like pegs and grips get beat up over time. I've several times had to artfully file down chrome over-coverage to get new parts to fit. And some part's chrome is better than others. I have Cobra chrome too, and it's about the same. My swing arm covers are all faded (but not peeled) on both bikes.

I've had several kury products on my bikes in the past. They always seem to get flakey prematurely.

I swear by Kury products. My grips are almost 7yrs. old 40,000 mi. two bikes worth of wear. Premium floorboards are 5 yrs. old. Dually pegs were on the bike as bar connected foot rests and I moved them to driver pegs 3 yrs. ago with no issues either. Heard more complaints on Cobra quality than most other aftermarket suppliers. I live humid Indiana but I also store mine inside year around. My bike gets a bath twice a season and wiped down if it gets rained on. Only special treatment is Lucas Slick Mist after a wet wipe down. I ride @ least 5,000 mi. per season.

I'm not happy at all with Kury chrome quality. My grips or down to the copper now from riding without gloves and my trans covers are flaking along with my pegs and hareware but, they're the only people still making these product.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one.... My problem now is that I want to improve my lighting situation. My commute is about 70 miles each way, and I return home after midnight. I'm looking for a good set of running lights. I see Kury has several available, but I don't want rusty pods in a couple of years, especially at those prices.... I see there are other aftermarket choices out there, but I don't know anything about them. Any recommendations? Thanks, Bob

Some of the Kury chrome on my Valkyries is going on 12 years old. It's traveled from bike to bike. It's still in like-new shape.
Ditto the Add-On/Big Bike Parts accessories along with various Wayne's World, Cobra, Hondaline and other shiny stuff I've added over the years.
I keep a coat of Collinite Insulator Wax or Mother's Carnauba Wax on all chromed and polished surfaces during riding season, and when the bikes are put up for the winter all of those surfaces are drenched in spray lubricant. Collinite's product has gotten the nod in recent years. You have to dynamite the stuff to get it back off the metal.
Very few pieces on my bikes (including OEM) have flaked or rusted, and the ones which come to mind are the Cobra passenger floorboards I have on my Tourer.
