Has anyone tried the PathfinderLED H4 Tri-LED Bulb? I am allways looking for an upgrade in my IS.
These look like drop ins.

They make some that are 3800 lumens, probably way better than the 2000 lumen
Pathfinder one...

I currently have one of those (2015 model) in my Tourer. I find that I need to run my driving lights in order to get enough "fill", but the lower color temperature of the new bulb may eliminate the need for that.

Should I swap them this summer I'll post comments.

Comes nicely packaged, two in the box with new boot covers.  Gives a decent enough pattern.

You'll like the whiter light.  Makes you much more noticeable and lights up road signs extremely well.

Man that cyclops is the beast, I think I'll try one when my bulb goes bad, do you have to use that adaptor?

I didn't when I used one on my Tourer.

See my previous post above where you can get two for the price of one Cyclops.

And just so you know, some folks just cut one tab off and use it in their IS with no adapter.   I found on my IS that I could just slightly trim the width on one of the tangs and it would have support in all three slots, no adapter.

Ok, so punisher and valkorado....you both gave these bulbs a thumbs up.  I'm curious how long you have had them and what is your opinion on brightness and light projection compared to a Sylvania Silverstar (not Ultra, just the original).

My interest is peaking, but I'm not sure if these are whiter, brighter, better projecting light than a halogen Silverstar?

I know some give the Silverstar a bad rap due to their longevity experienced, but I have had these last years without issue for the most part.

Silverstars are nice and what I used before going LED, so I do have that reference point.  I've tried a few LED bulbs, first some using 3 CREE LEDs per bulb (2 hi beam, 1 for low).   Those worked only a few months before crapping out, and thankfully so.  They were bright but not a good 360* projection.  Tried the ones Grumpy recommended awhile back, much better projection but they also didn't stand the test of time and a bulb burned out.  Went with this bulb because of the 4000 lumen and the glass cylinder that diffuses the light into a 360* projection.  No problems for almost two seasons now.  These are by far the best LED bulbs I've tried.  As far as bright, the difference in the 6000k white light is in my opinion beyond comparison.  Road signs appear to be emitting their own light source.  I seem to see further down the road and deeper into the shadows.

Sounds like a good option. I have silverstars and seem they dont last long.
