Every so often they will organize a group buy.

A vendor is contacted and a price is given to the forum members for 10 of, 20 of, 30 of etc etc of a product.

Would this help you guys in getting hard to find parts made up. Maybe Valkyrie Bling and others could handle this kind of thing.

Might be a way to get bag rails etc made up.

YOU DO HAVE TO MAKE A FIRM COMMITMENT. NO SAYING YES AND BACKING OUT AFTER PRODUCTION IS STARTED. That aint the way it works.

Impala SS owners group does the same thing. Payment required up front for a "group" buy but it does save money and sometimes gets a hard to find item made or off the ground. Doesn't work so well with some labor intensive items as I pitched this thought out to Glen Woods at Woody's Fairings and he had some good reasons why it was not for him. But I was thinking that with as many people as we have running 4" stacks that the tips Bill Gurney makes might be a good item. Bill has been running them on e-bay lately but this could be a good thing for him and those with the stacks. JMHO
